Nathan Thomas Anthony Swartz

On Sunday, September 20, 2015 the Swartz family unexpectedly lost their youngest child, Nathan Thomas Anthony Swartz. He is survived by his parents Mike and Tammy of Rives Junction; his brother Mike and his sister Angie. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Tom and Jean Powers, of Jackson; and his paternal grandmother, Mary Swartz of Mikado. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Syd Wright, and countless friends and family.

Nate, born June 17th, 1992, was 23 years old and known as an amazing friend, brother and son. Words cannot express the amount of kind, fun-loving and positive energy he contributed to the world. He was a graduate of Jackson Northwest High School, attending Western Michigan University.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 25 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. James Shaver, Fr. Kurian Kollapallil, and Deacon Mike McCormick officiating. He will be put to rest next to his paternal grandfather Elihu Swartz at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.
