Wilkins, Natalie A.

Of Jackson, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the age of 89 years. She was the loving mother of David (Joanne) Wilkins, Stephen (Elsa) Wilkins, Mary Anne (Jack) Martin, Brian Wilkins, Natalie (Karl) Buslepp, Linda (Tom) Lacasse-Steepe, Gary (Christy) Wilkins and James (Dacia) Wilkins. Natalie is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Nellie Jors, two sisters, Patricia Burns and Katherine Franklin, one brother, Robert Jors and her former husband, Gareld Wilkins.

Natalie was the first woman to hold a district manager position for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan. She was a lifetime member of Queen's Parish and enjoyed volunteer tutoring at Queen's Elementary School, singing, needlework and, especially, spending time with her many friends and her family.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

A brief Prayer Service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:00 AM followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Father Mathias Thelen will be the celebrant. The interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
