Weed, Nancy (Helen)
Of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the age of 91. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Daniel; and parents, Max and Helen Spencer-Clore. Survived by two sons, Richard (Denise) Weed and Philip (Tonia) Weed; three grandchildren, Alison and Jessica Weed and Jason Burnap; two great grandchildren, Raegan Weed and Jazlin Burnap; one sister, Dorothy (Robert) Harr; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a lifelong member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church and an avid volunteer for St. Vincent dePaul Society and other Catholic charities.
"Her presence in our lives will be greatly missed."
The family would like to thank the entire staff at RidgeCrest Health Campus for their wonderful care and love given to Nancy during her stay.
Nancy is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held on Saturday, November 11 at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. Interment to follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 10 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. There will be a Parish and Amaranth Club Rosary on Friday at 7:00 PM.
Instead of sending flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Vincent dePaul Society.
