Of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the age of 57 years after a courageous 12 year battle with cancer.

Survived by one son Brian (Julie) Walters; granddaughters, Skylar and Alyssa; mother and father, Edna and Gerald Walters Sr.; brothers and sisters, Gerald (Laurie) Walters Jr., Constance Merling, Kimberly (Kevin Hill) Kampf; nieces and nephews, Jamie, Jennifer, Jessica, Crystal, Derie, Chase, Elizabeth and Emily; grand nieces and nephews, Tyler, Carley, Kayden, Drew, Jaxon, Lily, Violet, Brayden, Landon and Haiden; many friends, including special friend Cheryl Whitney; several aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and nephew Aaron Walters.

She worked in the Sunday School Nursery, an office worker, and was a very active member at the New Horizons Community Church. She loved spending time at the family cabin in Harrison, enjoyed flea markets, garage sales and loved the beach.

Funeral services will be held at the New Horizons Community Church, 4300 Lansing Avenue, on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with Pastors William Tripp, Jerry Lyon, Doug Bilby and Dave McClintic officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the New Horizons Community Church on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
