Swisher, Nancy M.
of Dexter passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 31, 2012 at the age of 48 years. She is survived by one loving daughter, Alicia Klapperich; mother, Margaret Swisher; siblings, Beverly (Ron) Hurt, Craig Swisher, Deanna (Tim) Kurowicki, Donna (Scott) Romans, Norma (James) Kovacik, and Barbara (Michael) Toth. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many special friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Edward and her grandparents. Nancy was an avid fan of U of M football and the Detroit Red Wings.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home, 204 North Blackstone Street, Jackson, Michigan. Reverend James Shaver will officiate. Interment will follow at Washtenog Cemetery in Ann Arbor at 12:00 Noon.
A luncheon will be held at 2:30 PM at the UAW Local 892 Hall, 601 Woodland Drive in Saline that all are welcome to attend.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 9 to 10 AM.
In Nancy's memory all are invited to wear U of M or Red Wings attire and jeans to both the viewing and the funeral service.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or to the Cascades Humane Society.
