Snow, Nancy Ann

of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on October 8, 1947 in Athens, Ohio. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, David; daughter, Rachel Hamilton; one grandson, Preston Gage Hamilton; and longtime special friends, Billie Wissner, Karen Putman, Katie Brannigan-Hawkins, Vicky Bradley, Sue Hoornstra, Gladys and Dave Hubbell, and Pat Nolan. Preceded in death by her good friend, Sally Popp.

Nancy graduated in 1965 from Jackson High School. She taught special education at Northwest High School for 41 years where her passion was her students, to whom she was truly devoted. She enjoyed bowling and was a master gardener. Nancy was a longtime Union President for the Northwest Education Association. She was the first woman to join the Michigan Antique Radio Board.

Nancy is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 4:00 PM with Reverend Larry Rubingh officiating. A private interment will be held at Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 6 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to Nancy's grandson, Preston's Education Fund would be appreciated.
