Curl (Maes), Nancy J.

of Jackson passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 under the loving care of her family, Great Lakes Caring Hospice and the staff at Trellis Gardens, age 70 years. Survived by her children; Lisa (Walt) Schweizer, David (Peggy) Curl, Donald Curl and Jennifer (Steve) Burchett. 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren with one more on the way. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Julie Cram, Richard (Julie) Maes, James (Jeannie) Maes and Mary (John) Cooley and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Omer and Dorothy Maes and her brother Daniel Maes.

Nancy was a active lifetime member of St. John's Church and worked for ITT Hancock (Edscha) for many years. She loved to sew and travel with the elders. Nancy is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 12:00 Noon. Father James Shaver will officiate at the Funeral Mass. A private interment will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

Contributions to St. John's Church or Great Lakes Caring Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8 PM with a Rosary service at 6:00 PM.
