Fredrickson, Monica Lee

Passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness on Monday, January 25, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Jean Clayton; sisters, Barb Peavy and Diane Walz.

Leaving behind her husband of 21 years, Steve Lindahl; sister Mary and Pete Jordan; and her 3 stepchildren, Teresa, Jessica, and James Lindahl; brothers-in-law, Carl Peavy, Gary and Sharon Lindahl, and sister-in-law, Jeanne; as well as multiple nieces, nephews and countless cousins. She went to Jackson High School where she played volleyball and softball. Her first job was in the laundry business with her mother and father at a young age. Then, she became a waitress at Jackson Pizza Factory for many years. Later, she moved to the dental industry in a clinic in Michigan Center. Her next move was in the magazine business here in Jackson for years.

She enjoyed all water activities; was an avid Sparty football and basketball fan, was an excellent cook, loved entertaining and loved going on casino trips and was an avid fan of auto racing. She was a giving person and would open her door to anyone in need. She was loved by many and missed by all.

We should all be thankful for having the opportunity to know and love Monica and for allowing us to have her in our lives.

A private family service will be held.
