OLSON, MIRIAM
Of Spring Arbor went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2010 age 83 years. Survived by three children; Karol (David) Lehman, David (Pat) Olson and Ronald Olson. Nine granddaughters; Kristina, Melissa, Kathryn, Jennifer, Rebecca, Heather, Sherrill, Kelsey and Abigail. 13 great grandchildren. Three sisters; Junetta Johnson, Elaine Rae and Helen Coleman. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Emil, step daughter Joyce Young, two brothers and one sister. Miriam retired from Spring Arbor College and the City of Jackson. She was a volunteer at Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church and Youth Haven Ranch. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment Spring Arbor Township Cemetery. Pastor Mark VanValin officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and at the Church on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM.
Contributions to Youth Haven Ranch or to John & Jennifer Young, C/o Wycliffe Bible Translators, would be appreciated.
