Wilcox, Michael Woodrow
passed away under the loving care of his family and the staff at Allegiance Hospice Home on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the age of 72 years. Survived by his wife, Cindy (Stadelman); four sons, Gerald (Debbie) Wilcox, Marty Wilcox, Dewey Wilcox, and Coyne Wilcox; two step-daugthers, Angie (Kevin) Lashley and Amy (Jeremy) Turner; grandchildren, Trista Bostater, Zachary Wilcox, Elizabeth Marriott, Andrew Marriott, Kaydee and Kaylee Skinner, and Emersen Turner; one great granddaughter, Jeweliana Bostater; one brother, Bud (Shirley) Wilcox; and brother-in-law, Duane Ward. Preceded in death by his sister, Irene Ward.
Michael was in the newspaper advertising business his entire life. He was a people person who never met a stranger. Michael enjoyed camping, visiting, and meeting new friends on his golf cart at the Gateway Park Campground in Hillsdale. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #9301.
According to Michael's wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 3 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday from 9:30-10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Mary's School would be appreciated.
