Stevens, Michael C.

of Jackson, died peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the age of 74. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean C. Stevens; three daughters, Sheryl Gonzalez and her children, Alec and Sarah Gonzalez; Jennifer (Brian) Daly and their children James, Thomas, Michael, and Liam Daly; and Deanna (Eric) Lesher and their children Jake and Hailey Lesher. Preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Rose Stevens and his brother, Patrick Stevens.

Mike graduated from Hillsdale College and retired from Consumers Energy. He was a longtime member of St. Mary's Parish, Knights of Columbus, Wellness at Allegiance Cardiac Rehab, and Consumers Energy Retiree Group "Gassers."

According to his wishes, Michael has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Reverend Father Richard Eberle O.S.F.S. officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Contributions in Michael's honor may be made to St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
