Patrick, Michael Pat
age 69, of Jackson, passed away in his home under the loving care of family and friends on January 14th, 2015.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Judy, 2 children Michael Patrick Jr., and Tamara Green. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Jacob and Ava, a sister, Elaine Patrick, brother Doug Patrick, 3 nephews, 3 nieces and loving mother Wanda Patrick. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert (Pat) Patrick and brother Wayne Patrick.
Mike was a Veteran of the Vietnam War 1966-1968. He served in the Army E. Co. 75th Ranger Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP), 9th Airborne Ranger Div. as a Sergeant E5 where he earned several medals including the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge and 2 Overseas Service Bars.
He will always be remembered for his kind Irish heart and ability to bring smiles and laughter to all those who knew him.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no viewing or service. There will be a celebration of his life at his home on Sunday, January 25th from 2-5 pm for family and close friends.
