Michael C. Little

Michael Little
age 62 of Jackson, passed away on January 23, 2014 surrounded by his family. Mike was born in Jackson, MI on October 13, 1951 to Richard and Helen Little. He went through Jackson Public Schools and graduated from Parkside High School in 1969. Mike married Kathy Houser on February 14, 1975. He obtained his CPCU designation and worked for Citizens/Hanover Insurance Company as an Executive General Adjuster until he retired. He loved to fish and was an avid U of M fan. Mike was a very strong and wonderful man who was willing to share his vast knowledge with others.

Mike is survived by his wife Kathy, two daughters Dawn (George) Ehrlich and Melissa (Dan Cannon) Little and five grandchildren, Chelsea, James, Katie, Abby, and Olivia. He is also survived by his mother, Helen Little and siblings Carol (Dick) Nichols, Carl (Linda) Little, Jeff Little, Bruce (Sue) Little, Peggy (Dave) Taylor and many nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his daughter Amy, his father, and two brothers, Richard and Patrick.

According to his wishes, Michael has been cremated. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the Pulaski Free Methodist Church, 9975 Miller Rd, Hanover MI Saturday, February 1, 2014 at noon.

The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 to the start of the service. In lieu of flowers the family wishes charitable donations be made in honor of Mike to the charity of your choice.

Mike was one of the good guys and will be missed by all who knew him.
