He is survived by his brother, David; sons, Patrick (Gina) and Russ; grandchildren, Connor, Cameron, and Paige; great-grandchildren, Taylen and Alannah; many nieces and nephews; the love of his life for the last 22 years, his fiancé, Linda (AKA Princess) Sturgill; and Linda's family, Denny (Lori) Negus, Todd Negus, Lisa Linton, Taylor Negus (Leighton and Ophelia), Darren Linton, and Jenna Linton.

After retirement, Mike could be found on a variety of golf courses, fishing on his lake, putzing around in his barn, or sitting on the deck watching the deer play by the lake. He loved to hop on his John Deere lawn mower and mow or just ride around on his beautiful property.
Mike was a member of the Grotto Club of Jackson and enjoyed the comradery of friends there for many years. He loved spending time in Fort Myers and, after spending many years renting in the area, he and Linda bought a condo in 2017.
Mike will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Henry Ford Allegiance for the outstanding care they gave Mike. They would also like to thank Henry Ford Hospice Home for their care and assistance through this difficult time.
Per his wishes, there will be no service. Please join us in a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Hankerd Hills Golf Course.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home.
