Day, Maxine E.
Of Jackson, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 age 91 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Donald E. Day on December 1, 2007. Survived by one daughter, Shirley (Phillip) Marble; two sons, David (Denise) Day and Gary Day. 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; One sister, Mary White; several nieces and nephews. She was a longtime active member of St. Mary Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Private interment St. John's Cemetery. The Rev. Cecilio Reyna officiating.
The family will receive friends at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church or the Jackson Interfaith Shelter would be appreciated.
