It is with a great deal of sadness that I announce the passing of my wife of 50 years and friend of nearly 60 years. It was a privilege and the mission of a lifetime to care for this brave woman during her very tough, courageous battle with cancer. A battle she ultimately lost and my heart is broken.

Maureen was preceded in death by her father Bernard McConville and mother Margaret Doyle McConville. Maureen is survived by her brother, Matt McConville of Scottsville, NY and by her sister, Mary Marconi of Sacramento and many nieces and nephews.

Maureen was a graduate of St. Agnes High School and McCarthy's Business School of Rochester, NY. Maureen was employed as a legal secretary for over 50 years at firms in Rochester, Chicago and Jackson, Michigan and enjoyed her work immensely. She was an ardent fan of Michigan State basketball and the Detroit Tigers and enjoyed going to as many games as possible.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held in her hometown of Rochester, NY at a later date.
