Mary Alice Wowianko

Wowianko (Curran), Mary Alice
of Jackson, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012 at the age of 92 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. She is survived by four children, Judy Secord, Tom (Jean) Wowianko, Mary Ann Bowes and Patty (Ed) Dell; grandchildren, Debbie Secord, Dan Secord, Mark (Kim) Secord, Jim Secord, Tom Jr. (Laurie) Wowianko, Rick Wowianko, Dave (Tisha) Wowianko, Andy (Amanda) Wowianko, Dr. Robert (Susan) Bowes, Jeffrey (Sue) Bowes, Ashley (Jeremy) Heaton, Nicholas Duke; two step grandchildren,  Amy (Mitch) Boyer, Casey Dell; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Frances Curran; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wowianko was a volunteer at Allegiance Hospital and the Department of Aging, enjoyed playing cards with her family and was a long time, dedicated member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church.

Mrs. Wowianko is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Father Mathias Thelen officiating. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lynn VanWagnen and the staff at Allegiance Hospital for their loving care and support.
