Wallace (Bauer), Mary E.
Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her children, Dale J. (Eileen) Wallace Jr., Wm. Paul (Pam) Wallace, Monica (Bill) Brooks, David (Winnie) Wallace, Martha Mangas (Toby Howland), and Marlane (Doug) Hahnke; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 78 years, Dale J. Wallace Sr.; daughter, Mary E. Bodman; parents, Alphonsus and Helen Bauer; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Our mother was the best mom us kids could ever have asked for and we thank God for giving her to us as long as he did. She was a master Rosary maker, donating hundreds of thousands of Rosary's throughout her life.
We would like to thank the HFHS Hospice at home, nurses Sheila and Dana, and care giver, Renee.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. A private interment will be held at St. Mary Cemetery in Manchester. The Mass will be live streamed on Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church's Website (www.queenschurch.com) or the Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church's Facebook or Youtube Page
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, May 13 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM. The family will also receive friends at Queen's Church on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Louis Center, 16195 W. Old US Hwy 12, Chelsea, Michigan would be appreciated.
