Robbins (Kingsley), Mary M.
Age 77, of Pleasant Lake, Michigan, formerly of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away on August 7, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. Mary was born February 6, 1943 in Jackson, Michigan to Elden and Margaret Smith. She grew up in Jackson, graduated from St. John Catholic School in 1961 and later obtained her realtor broker license. She moved to West Palm Beach, Fl in 1979 where she primarily worked in property management. Mary was a spiritual, strong and social person that "never met a stranger". She enjoyed her pet Shi Tzus, watching Jeopardy, Boxing and Notre Dame & U of M sports, playing online Euchre and especially, decorating her home at Christmas. Mary was a onetime member of the Red Hat Society and a Friend of Bill W., for over 41 years
In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband, William A. Robbins, siblings, Robert, Ronald & Gary Smith and her grandson, Nicholas Fridd. Mary is survived by her children: Kevin Kingsley (Heather Swann) of Jackson, Connie (Karl) Fridd of Pleasant Lake, daughter-in-law, Kristin Willcut of Jackson and step-daughter Renee (John) Redfern of Naples, Fl. Grandchildren: Linsey (A.J.) Curtis, Devin (Marissa) & Garrett Kingsley, Kayla Fridd and granddaughter of the heart, Monica Rogers. Great-grandchildren: Riley, Nolan, Madden, Mattie, Boden & Nora and many other extended family members.
The family would like to give special thanks to their niece, Sarra Smith, for providing loving care during Mary's illness and to their aunt, Janet Holloway for taking Mom on weekly outings that she enjoyed so much.
At her request, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 15 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Chas Canoy officiating. Friends and family are invited to watch the Funeral live streamed at www.saintjohnjackson.org or the church's Facebook page. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11-12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer's Association or Andy's Angels is appreciated.
