Mary Helen Murray

Of Jackson passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home on Saturday, October 28, 2017 one day before her 85th birthday. Survived by three children; Susie (Phil) Fischmeister, Tim Murray and Kellie Bailey. Four grandchildren; Kylie (Jeff) Roulo, Philip Fischmeister, Alec and Lauren Bailey. Great grandson Will Roulo and her brother Duane Thomas. Special family friend, Doylene Eder.  Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William J. "Bill" Murray, son Michael and her parents Joe and Odelia Obuchowski. Mary Helen attended St. Joseph Elementary School and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1950.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery Friday at 2:30 PM.  Mary Helen's brother in law and classmate, The Most Rev. James A. Murray, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Kalamazoo officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association would be appreciated.
