Kuhl (Aiken), Mary Alice
Passed away peacefully at home with the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Hospice. Mary was born on September 20, 1936 and was born into eternal life with Jesus on September 21, 2022.
Mary is survived by her husband of 68 years, John Kuhl; four daughters, Margie (Tom) Galardi, Katy (Mo) Page, Cindy (Mark) Miller, and Susie (James) Everest; one son, John Kuhl; 13 grandchildren, Mickey Zippay, Kellie (Michael) Berkemeier, Jackie (Chad) Gregory, Maury Page, Mark Miller, John Miller, Mandy (Dan) Weaver, Jason Kuhl, Jordy Kuhl, Korey Kuhl, Jennifer (John) Wright, Heather Lowder, and Josh Lowder; eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Mary was co owner of Kuhl's Meat Market and Kuhl's Bell Tower Market, working with her husband John for over 50 years, serving downtown Jackson until their retirement.
Mary began her mornings at 4:00 am preparing the daily specials, soups, chili, salads, at Kuhl's Bell Tower Market for 25 years, all which became customer favorites and are still missed today by many.
Mary loved playing golf and played right to the end of her life, but above all Mary enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, excited for the many holiday parties, summer lake parties, card games, and sporting events. Mary kept her family close and will be missed by all of them. Our hearts are broken, but have confidence we all we meet again.
According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Mary was a life long member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Father Tim Nelson officiating.
The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Church on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
Instead of sending flowers, contributions to Henry Ford Hospice would be appreciated.
