Gawlak, Mary L.
Of Grand Rapids, formerly of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 age 85 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years John Gawlak Jr. Survived by three daughters; Catherine (Tim) Hackett, Jean (Bill) Suggs, Margaret (Steve) Pfeifenberger. Seven grandchildren, Kelly (Josh) Fiedorowicz, Mark (Kari) Hackett, Michael and Matthew Suggs, Corinne, Taryn and Quinn Pfeifenberger. Two great grandchildren, Jacob and Ethan Fiedorowicz.
Mary was a longtime member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family, to be given to Mary's care givers at Sentinel Pointe in Grand Rapids for the wonderful care that they provided.
The family will receive friends at Queen's Church on Friday from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM.
