FREDERICK (JOB), MARY J.

Born May 25, 1917 in Jackson, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Bethany Hospice at the age of 99 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter, in 2003 and is survived by her six children, who will miss her strong example of faith: Wally J. (Mary) Frederick, Mary Ann (Frank) Burns, Mike J. (Connie) Frederick, Lori K. (Phil) DeBiasi, Patty L. Macklin, John P. (Karen) Frederick, 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her dear brothers and sister: Mike Job, John (Dee) Job, Joe (Alicia) Job, Stella Formella; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved brothers Stanley, Louis, Harry and Ed Job, and beloved sisters Rose Soltis, Helen Bidol, Jenny Szczesny and Ann Bazylewicz.

Mary was a lifelong homemaker, although she was among the first group of women employees at the Jackson Goodyear plant. She was a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. When her health made her unable to attend Mass there, she did so through EWTN, her daily companion as she prayed for all family and relatives, near and far.

Mary's family would like to express their deep gratitude to Great Lakes Caring and especially to Bethany Hospice for their openly loving care of our mother, both physically and spiritually. They treated our mother like they would their own mother.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Oratory with Fr. Brian Lenz officiating. Interment will take place at St. John's Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, preceding the 11:00 AM Funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethany House.
