Mary Elsie Anderson

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on March 29, 2024 at the age of 92. Mary is survived by four children: Richard L. Anderson Jr. (Audrey) of Shepherd, MI, Mike Anderson (Karen) of Boulder, CO., Jim Anderson (Nancy) of Ann Arbor, MI., and Laura Anderson (Kendall Spoor) of Conifer, CO. Mary has five grandchildren, one great grandchild and extended family. She is preceded in death by her youngest son, Joe Anderson and her husband of 63 years Dr. Richard L. Anderson DDS (Dick/Doc).

Mary was born June 13, 1931 in Pontiac, MI. to Laura and James White. She was a member of  Queen of the Miraculous Medal church from the age of three. She worked alongside Dick  managing his dental office; greeting patients and giving comfort to those in need. She was the friendly face as they walked in. Mary continued working for Dr. Gary Lishinski after Dick's retirement in 1993 and remained working for him for over 15 years. She loved seeing the patients for all those years.  Mary will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank Kay Blecha and Dave and Cindy Curtis for their decades of friendship, love and caring. The family also thanks Henry Ford Hospice Home for their excellent care and compassion. We are grateful to them for being there when she needed it most.
