SILVEUS (GAUSS), MARTHA C.
Age 92, of Jackson went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Preceded in death in 1981 by her loving husband Garold Silveus, daughter Lynn Marie, grandson Jacob, father and mother Edwin and Margaret Gauss and sister Anna Lienhart. Surviving are her children, Michael (Ann), Jean (Michael) Lincoln, Thomas (Mellissa), Robert and Douglas (Autumn) all of Jackson, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. Mrs. Silveus is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Father James Shaver officiating. Private interment Roseland Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM.
Contributions to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Highland Alzheimer's Care Home for the wonderful care that they provided.
