Clevenger, Mark J.
of Jackson, passed away while under the kind and compassionate care of the staff at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home at the age of 49 on Thursday, February 13, 2020 after a hard vigorous fight with pancreatic cancer.
Mark was born in Jackson, Michigan to Janet Trombley Clevenger and the late Morris Monroe "Bud" Clevenger.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, the late Morris Monroe "Bud" Clevenger, his special Uncle Tom Trombley and his beloved grandparents Martin and Barbara Trombley and Addie Mae Clevenger.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Teriko Clevenger, their two beautiful children Baileigh and Cooper Clevenger and his mother, Janet Trombley Clevenger along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark was a graduate of Lumen Christi and was employed with Lowes Home Improvement where he just celebrated 24 years of employment. A job he truly loved. Mark was a member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church. Mark enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, golfing, spending time with family and friends and attending his children's sporting events.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the outpouring support and love that has been showed to them during this difficult time. Special thanks to the University of Michigan Roger Cancer Center, and his exceptional providers.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. A private interment will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the Church on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family for Mark's Children's Educational Fund or to the American Cancer Society for Pancreatic Research would be appreciated.
