KONKOL, MARJORIE L.
Of Jackson passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Allegiance Hospice Home on Saturday, June 11, 2011 age 78 years. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Leo. Six children; Richard (Jane) Konkol, Alice (Jim) Moore, LouAnn (John) Wood, Thomas (Kathleen) Konkol, David Konkol and Anita (David) VandenBerg. Grandchildren; John, Joel, Joshua, Jeffery, Jessica, Kristie, Katie, John II, Elissa, Ashley and Jessica. Seven great grandchildren. Brother Robert (Stasia) Konkel and sister Carole (Bill) Donahue. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pearl Konkel. Marjorie was a longtime member of St. Stanislaus Kostka, St. Joseph and St. John Churches.
She was devoted to her faith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to all. Mrs. Konkol is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be held Tuesday 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 10:00 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the Allegiance Hospice Home or DisAbility Connections would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 PM with a Rosary Service Monday at 6 PM.
