of Jackson, passed away under the loving care of her family, the staff at Spring Arbor Assisted Living, and the wonderful care of Susan DeRoot from Heartland Hospice on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 four days before her 94th birthday. She is survived by her three sons, Bob (Pam), Dan (Dawn), and Brian (Lynn); daughter in law, Glenna; grandchildren, Kenny, Sean, Eric, Daniel, Scott, Adam, and Dale Williams, Meagan Bosnjak, Kellie Fazekas, Casey Allmandinger-Rizzo, and Sharon Allor; 17 great grandchildren; brother in law, Joe Long; and special friend and care giver, Connie Keeder. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Retired Colonel Robert E. Williams; son, Gary; and grandson, Jason Williams.

Mary Lou loved traveling and camping with her husband. She was an avid golfer, receiving a hole in one trophy. She had a passion for playing cards. Mary Lou was a devoted member to St. John's Catholic Church and Altar Society for 70 years. She made thousands of hand cross stitched Easter egg baskets for the Together We Can Make A Difference House, distributed by St. Mary's Elementary School students, and then given to the Jackson County Medical Care Facility

The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Mary Lou's 94th birthday, Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Fr. James Shaver officiating. A private interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
