Eisele (Holzworth), Marion
Of Jackson, beloved Sister, Mother, Grandmother (Beema), Great Grandmother (GG), passed away peacefully at home on February 24, 2023. She was 99 years old. Marion was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Charles (Bud) Eisele, mother Marie (Waidelich) Holzworth, father John Holzworth, sisters Evelyn Horn and Phyllis Miller, and brother Robert (Mike) Holzworth. Marion is survived by her four sisters Elizabeth George, Dorothy Horn, Agnes Norton, and Jane Dillon; four children John (Sharon) Eisele, Charles (Margaret) Eisele, Chris Eisele, and Rick (Michelle) Eisele; eight grandchildren Marc (Cheryl) Eisele, Chad (Tammy) Eisele, Nicole (Kevin) Buckner, Allison Glasband, Kara (Rob) Gilliam, Ryan (Jessica) Eisele, Derek (Chelsea) Eisele, and Krista (Jeremy) Grein; and twenty two great-grandchildren Kaelynn, Elissa, and Liam Eisele; Alexis Buckner; Jacob, Caite, and Andrew Eisele; Amanda and Paige Glasband; Lilli and Oscar Eisele; Anne, Robert, and John Gilliam; Lauren, Stephen, and Lucas Eisele; and Finley, Teddy, Gus, Shaw, and Connor Grein.
Marion was the eldest of eight children. She graduated from St. Mary High School in 1941, and worked as a legal secretary until she entered Government Services at the outbreak of World War II as a civilian employee of the Navy Inspection Office in Jackson. After the War, she was transferred to the Veteran's Administration in Jackson. In 1947, Marion married "Bud" Eisele and over the next fourteen years raised her four children. She then reentered the workplace with the Internal Revenue Service, where she retired in 1988 as a Field Agent Supervisor. Marion loved her God, family and friends, flower gardening, dancing, and beautiful music. She was a long-time parishioner of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church where she was a devoted member of the Adoration Society.
Mrs. Eisele is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. A Chapel Service will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Henry Ford Hospice for their loving care of our Mother in her final days.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Jackson Interfaith Shelter.
