Elinski, Marion A.

Age 84 of Jackson, passed away on Friday March 8, 2024. She is survived by her three children, Randy (Beth), Mike (Jenifer), and Donna (Todd) Long; eight grandchildren, Trevor (Emma), Meagan, Kristin (Jim) Sandberg, Katie (Brendan) Maynard, Eric, Adriane, Mark, and Mary; two great-grandchildren, Calvin and Matthew; her two sisters in-law Jean Stevens and Lorraine (John) Mazur; along with several nieces, cousins, and many friends. In addition to her husband of 59 years Donald, Marion was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Constance Preston, sister Kay Schisler, her granddaughter, Rachel Marie Long, and her brother in-law, Michael Stevens.

After working several years as an X-Ray Technician at Mercy Hospital in Jackson, Marion chose to devote herself to being a stay-at-home mother in support of her family. Marion loved the lake, golf, and spending time with her grandchildren; making fond memories while attending their many events and activities throughout the years.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 1:00 PM with Fr. Timothy McDonald officiating.

The family will receive friends at Queen's church from 12:30 to 1:00 PM on Wednesday.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to Queen of the Miraculous Medal Parish or The  Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan would be appreciated.
