Ward, Marilyn
of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her son, Bill (Carolyn) McGee; her brother, Robert Matthias; her niece, Amanda (Michael) Caton and their daughter, Sophie; her niece, Kim (Jack) Palmer; her nephew, Justin (Sara) Matthias; her cousin, Bud Anderson; and many special friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marian Matthias and her beloved dog, Hugsly.
Marilyn is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday at 12:00 Noon followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 12:30 PM. Father Timothy MacDonald will be the celebrant at the funeral Mass. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Cascades Humane Society.
