Of Jackson, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the age of 77. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edward in 2012. She is survived by her children, Mark, Laurie (Todd) Fitzpatrick, Christine Johnson (Danny Manser), Tom (Angela Ciaravino); 10 grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel) and Jason Job, Cody, Emilie and Mason Fitzpatrick, Chad, Corey and Katie Johnson (Conor), Eric and Timmy Job; five great-grandchildren: McKenzie, Max, Gabbi, Noah and Kenadee; two brothers, Carl (Marcella) Janson Jr. and Steve (Judy) Janson; three brothers-in-law: Mike, John (Dee) and Joe (Alicia) Job; four sisters-in-law: Pat Janson, Barb Janson, Mary Frederick and Stella Formella; numerous nieces and nephews. Marilyn was proceeded in death by her siblings Rosie Toon, Janelle Clemons, Tom Janson, and John Janson. Mom loved cooking and was famous for her city chicken and golumpkis. She enjoyed taking care of others, reading, casino trips, and socializing with her family and friends. Mom had a big heart and was a one-of-a kind woman and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She retired from the lab at Foote Hospital in 1995. She was a devout Catholic and was a lifelong member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Parish.

The Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 10 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 10:30 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald as the celebrant. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9 from 2–4 and 6–8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at Queens Church on Friday from 10–10:30 AM.

The family wishes to extend a special heartfelt thanks to her grandson Eric, brother Steve and his wife Judy, her best friend Mary Prestler, and Dr. Halsey and his entire staff for all of their care and support.
