Heatherman, Marilyn R.
of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the age of 86 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Frank. She is survived by four children, Diana (Jan) Nelson, Mary (Larry) Alberts, Anne (John) Rogus, Frank T. (Melissa) Heatherman; 10 grandchildren, Lisa Hess, Tara Heatherman, Laura and David Rogus, Emily and Reid Alberts, Carrie Lindsay, Jamie Clemons, Brock Harvey and Vicky Portfleet; four great grandchildren, Karyle Miller, Tommy Fuller, Hunter Clemons and Eleanor Portfleet. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, was a long time member of Queen's choir and was a wonderful homemaker and cook. She loved to entertain and enjoyed acting, both in high school and in local Jackson theater. She was kind and gentle with a deep and quiet faith. She was also blessed with many wonderful friends. We will miss her gentle spirit and quiet strength. Marilyn is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at
11:00 AM. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Reverend Robert McGraw will be the celebrant.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson Interfaith Shelter or the American Heart Association of Michigan.
