Garred-Scott, Marilyn Louise
of Jackson, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the age of 56 years. She is survived by her three children, Melanie Eddy (Cameron White), Amanda (Phillip) Tripp, Annie (Mark) Bontomasi; six grandchildren, Logan, P.J., Ben, Matt, Ella and Penelope; two sisters, Judy (Don) Miles, Betty Garred-Sale; two brothers, Mike (Monique) Garred, Louis (Lily) Rechis; her dog and faithful companion, Wally. Marilyn was preceded in death by one brother, Rick; her parents, Louise (Dick) Greenfield and Mike Garred.
A celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3905 Clinton Road, with Pastor Phillip Stout officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Marilyn was a loving and devoted "Nana" to her grandchildren and a caring friend to many.
