MARGUERITE G. APPEL

of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the age of 97 years.  She is survived by her five children, Janis Appel of Olympia, WA, John (Susan) Appel of Bend, OR, Margaret (Michael) DeVries of Metamora, MI, Walter Appel of Lewiston, CA, and Mark (Christy) Appel of Springport, MI; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy years, Clare; parents, Clotilda Mary DeCoster and Medard Ostyn and two brothers.

Marty was a prolific reader. She enjoyed the game of bridge immensely and until a few years ago played as often as possible.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a small immediate family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
