Sczykutowicz (McInerney), Margaret "Maggie"

went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 91 years of age. She was married to John J. Sczykutowicz for 58 years, who preceded her in death in 2004. She was the daughter of Mary and Martin McInerney and was born on April 19, 1923 in Jackson, MI.
She is survived by seven children: Patricia (Vernon) Ledwell, Midge Slade (Marge Reilly), Mary (Danny) Dykes, John Jr. (Lynn), Nancy Schultz, Julie (Jeff) Howald, Fred Tovich (Randy Thomas); seven grandchildren: Douglas, Jodeen, Christine, John III, Sara, Ryan, Andrew; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; one sister, Teresa Peek; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Maggie was the former owner of the Show Bar and John's Party Store. She was president of the Lady of Fatima Blue Army for 10 years and was a special Minister of the Eucharist. She was a current member of the Polish Falcons, Polish National Alliance and the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars. She also enjoyed tutoring illiterate adults how to read.

Mrs. Sczykutowicz is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, October 18 at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Father Tim Nelson will be the celebrant at the Mass.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, October 17 from 1–8 PM.
