Malott, Margaret Christine
of Jackson passed away suddenly on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Survived by her husband of 39 years, Bob Malott; five children, Sandra (Frank) Townsend, Linda (Skip) Snow, Nancy Noel, Peter (Kim) Malott, and Monica Malott; granchildren, Terrie, Mark, Paul, Diana, Chip, Christina, Kaitlyn, and Ashley; fourteen great-grandchilren; and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret retired from the Department of Corrections after many years of service.
According to her wishes, Margaret has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 925 Backus Street on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Lillian French officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
