Jurczyszyn, Margaret

of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 under the loving care of the staff at Bethany House. She was born in Detroit in 1920 to Szymon and Stephanie Bojnowski. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Jurczyszyn, and her brother Richard Harris Bojnowski. She is survived by one brother Gerald Bojnowski; two daughters, Marianne (Barry) Ball and Margaret Chelemen; four grandchildren, Merideth (Jesse) Jansen, John Ball, Thomas Ball and Lily Ball.

Margaret was a longtime member of the Secular Franciscans–Jackson Order, as well as a librarian for St. John Church for many years.

Mrs. Jurczyszyn is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday, July 17 at 12:30 PM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 1:00 PM with Reverend Father Chas Canoy as the celebrant. Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16 from 4–8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.
