CLARKE, MARGARET M. "MARG"
Of Jackson passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Don. Seven children; Jane (Larry) Gusmus, Bridget (Dave) Fisher, Emily (Jim) Wilson, Sarah (George) Kaplinski, Tim Clarke, Patrick Clarke (deceased) and David Clarke. Also survived by three grandchildren; Anna, Tricia and Colleen and one great-grand son, Andrew.
Two brothers; Mick (Janet) Griffin and Joe (Diane) Griffin. One sister; Pat (George) Weed and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Erma Griffin, brother Bob Griffin and two sisters; Gert Lacinski and Jane Embury. Marg was a matriarch extraordinaire, a wonderful cook and hostess and was an avid bridge player. According to her wishes Mrs. Clarke has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:30 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and also at the Church on Wednesday from 10 to 10:30 AM. Rosary Tuesday at the funeral home at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions to Lumen Christi High School or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
