CHOWN, (CONKLIN) MARGARET MARY "PEGGY"
of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the age of 51 years. She is survived by two daughters; Lindsey (Justin) Manser and Megan Chown; grandson, Jaden Manser; loving fiancee, Steven Wildman; step mother, Irene Conklin; brothers and sisters, Terry and Kathy Conklin, Michael P. (Marie) Conklin, Cindy (Chris) Kokoczka, Aileen (Frank) Pomarico, Cammie (Rick) Girodat, Chris (Susie) Conklin, Carol (Randy) Czubko, Janice (Tom) Haynes, David (Julie) Babcock; aunt, Leonilla Cavanaugh; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Peggy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Patricia and Michael R. Conklin and her nephew, Michael Sean Conklin. Peggy worked at Foote Hospital for 22 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was a loving sister. Her intelligence and quick Irish humor uplifted us all and she will be missed by all who knew her. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Timothy MacDonald will be the celebrant. A private interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Saturday from 1 to 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Peggy's children would be appreciated.
