Age 77 of Jackson, Michigan passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, January 14, 2023. She was born on March 27, 1945 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She later moved to Michigan in 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith Dew and Jack Comer; daughter, Katherine Hoffman; sister, Barbara Campell; and great-granddaughter, Kristen Larson. Marcia is survived by her children, Russell (Diane) Hoffman of Napoleon, Trish (Fred) Osborn of Manitou Beach, and Jarrett Hoffman of Jackson; grandchildren, Zacharian Weaver, Thomas Weaver, and Harley (Justin) Larson; and great-grandchildren, Caleb and Matilda.

Over the years, Marcia worked at Chelsea Hospital and then Jackson Citizen Patriot where she retired from. She was a member of the New Covenant Living Church in Jackson. She enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing, gardening, loved her daily walks, and just getting to know herself. Marcia truly loved being around her family and they always brought a smile to her face and truly enjoyed time with her friends.

We will be having a Loving Farewell for Marcia on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Art 634, 634 N. Mechanic Street, Jackson. Please come celebrate her life and share your stories with everyone.
