DELGADO, MANUELA L.
Of Jackson passed away peacefully under the loving care of her family and the staff at Heartland Care Center on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 age 90 years. Survived by two daughters, Marie Wright and Michelle "Micki" (Al) Torres. Seven grandchildren, Robert Foster, Naomi Clark, Victoria Torres, Ruben Torres, Robert Wright III, Tina Marie Matz and Alejandra Torres. 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Enrique "Henry" Delgado. Manuela enjoyed gardening and cooking but the most important thing in her life was her family. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Saturday at 1:00 PM with private interment at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Father Tim Nelson will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
The family will receive friends at St. John's Church on Saturday from 12 noon until 1:00 PM with a rosary service at 12:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
