of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 with her family by her side, at the age of 87 years. Survived by her three sons, Mark (Annie) Farrell, Matthew Farrell (special friend Subrina), and Steven (Brenda) Farrell; nine grandchildren, Jessie, Josh, Ryan, Nicholas, Keegan, Brittany, Jason, Sean, and Cory; eleven great grandchildren; ten step children; one sister, Beverly Cauthon; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Richard Farrell and Gary Gifford; and one sister, Helen Crampton.
Madeline was very devoted to Queen's Church, where she was a very active member. She was a volunteer for Local Hospice. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and walking. Madeline was the chairman of her class reunion, class of Jackson High 1945. She cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the Church on Friday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Lumen Christi High School would be appreciated.
