Lucille Ann Borders
It is with deep love and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Lucille Ann Borders, who devoted more than 31 years of service to Jackson Public Schools before retiring. Known for her unwavering dedication, kindness, and strength, she touched countless lives both inside and outside the school.
Family and friends meant everything to her, and she was the true heart and foundation of our family she started traditions that will carry on generation to generation. She found joy in bringing people together, always looking for reasons to cook out, gather, and celebrate life's moments. Her home and her spirit were places of comfort, love, and laughter.
She also had a deep love for Nascar, Detroit Tigers, animals, flowers, family, friends and shopping, and some of her happiest times were simple rides on the golf cart with her husband Jim by her side and having all the family together for a little cook out. Her warmth, generosity, and presence will be missed by all who knew her. Lucille was a remarkable person who left a warm feeling, and a smile in everyone's heart she met.
Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love and togetherness lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Lucille is survived by her husband, James Borders; daughters, Diane (Dwayne) Bosowski and Sharon (Eddie) Auker; grandchildren: Shannon and Joe King, Josh and Jillian Jones, Dustin Jones, Cassi and Corey Stine, Ethen and Kaylea Borders, Kristen Greuling (Anthony Morris), and Mike Northrup; great-grandchildren: Zachary Lutz, Dominic and Andru King, Joey and Brooklynn King, Kyrsten Jones, Tyler and Zoey Jones, Josh Pirtle, Sophie, Chevy, and Charles Dolson, Kaydance and Kendal Burkholder, Brayden, Abel, Adyden and Savanna Stine; great-great-grandchildren: William and Wren King, Annistyn-Mae King, and Caden Knoellinger. She was preceded in death by David Stacey, Pat Borders, Kelsey Perry, Bailey Knoellinger, and Gerald Borders.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday, September 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
