Louise "Squirt" Jodis

Was called to the Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the age of 71 years under the loving care of her family. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Elizabeth Howard; infant son; and sisters, Faye and Diane. She is survived by her loving husband, Jan Stephen Jodis of 48 years; children, Robert (Teresa), Karen, and Carol; grandchildren, Savannah, Chyenna, Duey, Elizabeth, Mikayla, and Marlo; several great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on January 19, 1944. Louise was a devoted stay at home mom. She volunteered at school and social functions when needed. She ran the Bingo Hall at St. Stanislaus for many years. She worked at Virginia and Christoff's Coney Island. Louise's passions were her family, yard sales, casinos, and cooking a feast at every occasion. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

According to her wishes, cremation has taking place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, August 7 at 1:00 PM with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. The family will receive at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 PM and on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Louise battled pancreatic cancer courageously but was supported by her family, friends and care providers.
