Duffey, Louis M. "Duff"
of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his wife, Louise; children, Linda Palmer, Chuck Duffey of North Carolina, Steve Duffey, Brenda (Bob) Prater; stepchildren, Paula (Rich) Cowsert, Rhonda (Patrick) McCauslin, Kenneth Warner; nine grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; one great granddaughter; eight step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vince and Kitty Duffey; sister, Betty Campbell; first wife, Angie Terrell Duffey.

Duff was retired from Eaton Corporation, served his country in the U.S. Marines and spent winters in Florida. He was a member of Moose Lodge #156, Sons of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

A celebration of Duff's life will take place on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
