Lorrey J. Michela (Cochran)

Michela (Cochran), Lorrey Jean of Jackson Mi, prior of Livonia, Warren, & Allegan Mi. passed suddenly on 1/11/14 at the age of 58. Lorrey was born on Sept 30, 1955. She was very happily married to her current husband Robert (Bob) Michela for almost 22 years. They shared in the joy of 4 loved children; Michael, Chris, Marie & Alex along with 4 beautiful grandchildren. Lorrey's mother lives in Allegan Mi. and she also has 4 brothers; Tim, Michael, Rollie & Doug along with 7 nieces & nephews. Lorrey's Dad preceded her in passing about 5 years ago. Lorrey had gone to college at Oakland University and Wayne State where she received her degree as an attorney. She worked as an attorney for Elias Bros, and later as an associate and a partner of a Southfield Mi. law firm for many years. Only leaving her practice to spend more years with her husband Bob who had since retired. In the last years she participated with her husband in their local lake assoc, on local election committees and also various fraternal organizations that each of them belonged to. Lorrey, who was very precious to all who knew her will be so missed by her husband, family and friends.

Memorial services celebrating her & her life will be held on Sat. Feb 1, 2014, 11:00 AM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home located at 204 N. Blackstone Street in Jackson Mi. The family will start receiving guests at 10:30 AM.

Lorrey and her husband Bob adopted several abused or sheltered dogs and if you are looking to make a donation we would ask that donations be made (in lieu of flowers) to your favorite local Dog shelter in Lorrey's name.
