ANDERSON (WILKOZEK), LORRAINE
Age 76 of Pleasant Lake passed away March 29, 2010 at Allegiance Health in Jackson. She was born December 13, 1933 in Chicago, Ill., daughter of Joseph and Marie (Kopec) Wilkozek. Lorraine married Charles Anderson on September 18, 1954 in Chicago, Ill. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren Joshua & Britanie Anderson, niece Susan Wilkozek and a son-in-law William Coady. Lorraine is survived by her husband of 55 years Charles, her seven children, Patricia Coady of Lake Villa, Ill. Michael (Katie) of Lewisville, TX, Steven (Rhonda) of Broomfield, CO, Kenneth (Kathy) of Richland, WA, Lawrence (Genevieve) of Wichita Falls, TX, David (Clare) of Parker, CO, James (Terri) of Littleton CO. Grandchildren, Jennifer Morgan; Scott, Rebecca, Aaron, Nicholas, Kayla, Kathleen, Shae, Taylor, Emily, Aimee' & Jamie Anderson; David & Scott Sibson. Brother Norbert (Genevieve) Wilkozek of Hayward, WI. Several nieces and nephews. Lorraine was an avid gardener, quilter and supporter of her children's and husband's activities. She was active in Boy Scouts at the local troop and district levels. She earned her Wood Badge Beads shortly after the program was opened to women. According to her wishes, Lorraine has been cremated.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at Pleasant Lake United Methodist Church, 4815 E. Territorial Rd. April 10, 2010, Visitation 9:30 AM, Service at 10:30AM with Rev. M. E. Walworth Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Allegiance Hospice are suggested.
