Loretta Stella Schultz (Losh) of Jackson, Michigan passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2019 in Pennsylvania, at the age of 95. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Gay Michael Schultz. Loretta was the daughter of Stella (Niedzwiecki) and John A. Losh of Plymouth, PA. Sister of John Losh of Jackson, Michigan, Veronica Mato (deceased) and Evelyn Losh (deceased) of Arlington, Virginia.
She is survived by her children; Gay Schultz (Linda) Dallas, NC, Sharon Stafford (Charles) Aspers, PA and Alan Schultz (Lucinda). Grandchildren; Timothy Schultz (Karen), Andrea Aldridge (Devon), Julia Stafford (deceased), Aaron Stafford (Lauren), Loretta Zakrzewski (Dan), Sara Martin (Corey), Todd Shannon (Molly) and Sarah Shannon; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Loretta was a graduate of Plymouth High School, Plymouth, Pennsylvania, class of 1941. She was employed with the Philadelphia Navy Yard, WWII. She was a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church.
Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Jackson on Thursday, December 12 at 11:00am with Reverend Sarah Hurlbert officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4:00 pm – 7:00pm. 204 N. Blackstone St., Jackson, Michigan.
The family will also receive friends at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, before the service, from 10:00am – 11:00am on Thursday, December 12, 2019. (309 S. Jackson St., free parking lot behind church)
Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens 2:30pm.
Memorial contributions may be made in Loretta Schultz's name to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
