Cobb, Loretta E.
of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the age of 87 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Cobb and infant son, Robert James Cobb. Loretta is survived by four children; James (Rita) Cobb, Frank (Sharol) Cobb, Richard Cobb and Mark (Sheila) Cobb; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanne Yeiter and Rose (Dick) Williams; sister-in-law, Alice Kramer; brother-in-law, Allen (Joanne) Cobb; numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Loretta enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, bingo and going to the Senior Site. She was a member of the RSVP.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Rosary Service will be held on Monday at 6:00 PM.

A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday at the Desnoyer Funeral Home at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Father James Shaver as the celebrant. Interment will take place at Roseland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Allegiance Hospice House or St. John Catholic Church.
